Just what would those highly sought after, but typically non-huntable, exotics be that would be available in Texas but no where elseHe was here looking for some exotics to hunt in Texas that could not be hunted anywhere else in the world.

The Pere David deer have been reintroduced to China now, but they are not hunted too many places, besides here, if any, as far as I know. Those other the scimitar oryx, waterbuffalo, blackbuck, they are in the record books from several places besides TX although most of the big ones are from here.
I'll ask the guy I heard about the prince from, I didn't recognize what the species were when I heard about it, so I don't remember what they were. He might remember what the animals were that the prince was after.
I agree with the MT supporters...due in large part to the ease of access and price. Though I've seen some great pics from folks in BC, I have yet to see on person put as much high quality critters on the ground as some on here from MT or WY. BC does have the edge in big variety, but due in large part the remoteness of much of that area I'm not sure how practical it is for a person to hunt much of it every year.
