Best place to live (for the Psychotic big game hunter)

There was a prince here a few years from Saudi Arabia that I heard about. He was here looking for some exotics to hunt in Texas that could not be hunted anywhere else in the world. It was his task to get a nice trophy of every huntable animal in the world for the palace back home.

That's a nice thought, get a trophy of every huntable animal in the world. He was financing it with oil money from us, I guess.

Tom...just curious

Just what would those highly sought after, but typically non-huntable, exotics be that would be available in Texas but no where else

or something like this?LOL

God do I love that picture.:D

If I remember correctly, it tasted kinda-like roast beef.:D:D:D

That's what you get when you cross a hereford with Princess Leia...think she tasted a little like roast beef???

Was talking about Tom's beefalo NOT Tom himself ya senile ol' fart .... ya know, the curly horns and her curly hair .... damn cajuns!

The Pere David deer have been reintroduced to China now, but they are not hunted too many places, besides here, if any, as far as I know. Those other the scimitar oryx, waterbuffalo, blackbuck, they are in the record books from several places besides TX although most of the big ones are from here.

I'll ask the guy I heard about the prince from, I didn't recognize what the species were when I heard about it, so I don't remember what they were. He might remember what the animals were that the prince was after.

Excellent bovine Tom.

1st tier of choices would be WY, MT or Idaho in the lower 48.
2nd tier would be NV, NM, CO, SD.
Alaska would rate high, but I'd be divorced if that happened.

Never considered domicile in Canuck land.

New Zealand: 7 types of deer, Thar, Chamois, Pigs, no tags, no costs and 365 days a year, I didn't realise how good it was untill I moved to Australia, April 2010 and I'm back for good :D

There are only three states I'd ever consider living in; Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming. All others pale in comparison.

I agree with the MT supporters...due in large part to the ease of access and price. Though I've seen some great pics from folks in BC, I have yet to see on person put as much high quality critters on the ground as some on here from MT or WY. BC does have the edge in big variety, but due in large part the remoteness of much of that area I'm not sure how practical it is for a person to hunt much of it every year.

I've seen some high quality critters on the ground from BC guys. Practical access in remote areas should have no effect on the 'psychotic big game hunter'. If anything remote access is a bonus. Let's see......over the counter for sheep, goats, griz, ect vs. controlled draws for stink goat?????? Though choice for this psycho hunter.
