What's everybody doing for the holiday weekend? I'm going from Denver to Cody, WY to take my wife and two boys through Yellowstone NP. I should be out bear hunting like the rest of the civilized world but we're a little backwards in Colorado. Be safe whatever your doing, have fun and remember those who fought for our country.

I'm going to try to catch a giant gulf grouper in Mexico. And when I'm not on the boat I'm going to try to drink the weather cool.

California Bowmen Hunters 50th State Broadhead 3D tournament on Sat/Sun in the hills of the Tejon Ranch. 42 unmarked 3D targets each day using broadheads and your hunting set-up..........it's a great shoot. We're camping at the range and flying the flag all weekend.

Just chillin at home, maybe go on a good long hike

Monday I'll raise a glass to couple of really great guys I had the opportunity to serve with, Henry and Danny who gave their all in Iraq.

Friday - post the colors! >>>JLMATTHEW = THANK YOU!
Saturday - hitting the high country with my boy. He has been practicing with this fly rod, and hope he can get his 1st fish on the fly! Can't wait to get the float tubes out finally.
Sunday - Crawfish broil!
Monday - Rockies Game. Go Rockies!

To all Hunt Talkers, have a safe and happy Memorial Day holiday weekend!

Ride in the parade with fellow VietNam vets, attend memorial service at VietNam replica memorial wall in Bozeman, honor Gold Star families of fallen soldiers, sailors, and airmen/women, remember and honor veterans no longer with us, and honor my hunting buddy and close friend, Craig McCollim (VietNam vet and mainstay for twenty years of the RMEF Gallatin Chapter) who passed on Memorial Day one year ago after honoring the vets who went before him.

'Love to hear of enjoying the great outdoors of this nation during this holiday weekend. Those vets sacrificed to maintain the protection of the rights to enjoy our public lands. Please take a moment to reflect and honor them. "Freedom is not free."

Going to teach my youngest granddaughter (5) how to reload, she gets to stay with Mama and Papa all weekend! Will visit the cemetery at some point to put flags on the graves of my Dad, Grandpa and Father-in-law. they served in WW1, WW2 and Korea. May try to catch a rainbow or 2 and last but not least, squirrel season opens.

Bob

Have a safe & happy holiday weekend, God bless the Vets!

Honor those who served on monday.Maybe do a little striper fishing too.Take the kids out shooting.Everyone remember those who gave us these freedoms.

You guys are making me jelous. I'm with fishing4sanity. Work. Weather has not let us do any field work this week. Another weekend at work.

Some more fishing and probably some range time as well as at least a few miles on the trail.

Flag for dad and flowers for mom on their graves. Then off to our place in Oregun to take down the snow sides on the shack, o'dark thirty ride on the ATV up to a trail and walk it out to see what I can see.

Post the flag, ride in the parade with the VFW boys. Had intended to go to the lake for some light sailing, but my SIL was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago and my bride wants to spend as much time with her as is possible, so will cook a large pan of paella over a hickory fire for about a dozen people and just commune with family.

Go honor our vets, both alive and fallen!
