Civil War Battlefields Memorial Day Weekend

Antistatic was very moving. The sunken road and cornfield was very moving. Excellent preservation of the area.

Strong recommendation for Stephen Sears' "Landscape Turned Red" for a great history of the Antietam (or Sharpsburg, if you still call it the War of Northern Aggression) campaign.
I second this recommendation. Sears provides a comprehensive retelling of the battle with enough clarity that you can keep track of all the major players/movements.

Can anyone recommend a similar quality book for the Fredericksburg or Chancellorsville battles?

Actually, Sears has a fantastic book on Chancellorsville too. I'd recommend that one.
