Memorial Day Weekend

Sounds like a lot of great plans!

Yellowstone...definite snow...be prepared with the lil ones.
Bike rallies and honoring vets...A+ to all of you.
Some bear hunting...I hope to join you all.

Weather is going to be cold and wet up here, but I hope everyone has a great weekend none the less.

God Bless America!

I will be working,...but only because I'm taking two weeks off a week later.Fortunately after many years of construction I can somewhat operate on auto-pilot, and will reflect on all those who have served and sacrificed.Chances are i will day dream about my trip to the Baja with my wife for some relaxation, snorkeling, exploring, AND tossing flies at Roosters and Dolphin.

Normally I hang out and attend the Memorial Day services. This year I will be in Ithaca, New York, attending a college graduation ceremony.

Have a safe and joyful Memorial Day weekend. Give thanks to those for whom this weekend is dedicated.

Some cemetery time, some early Sunday morning range time, a little landcape tinkering, some grilling for the kids......and the wife's list.

.Mondays off are the best.

Mtlion and I found a bear on Wednesday that I'll be spending my evenings after. Lots of sitting around and watching baseball during the day.

Everybody else gets tracking snow, looks like we're just going to get wet.

Shelly and I will be heading to western Md to a Victorian Mennonite restraint and B&B , Sunday I get to hear Keith Castell preach in a appellation back woods church he was asked to preach at. He is a Gideon and travels to the out back churches. Keith is the gun builder who tough me 30 years ago to build Flint locks.
I am looking forward to this.

God Bless

What's everybody doing for the holiday weekend? I'm going from Denver to Cody, WY to take my wife and two boys through Yellowstone.

4 weeks ago I drove to Cody, found out that the website was wrong, the east entrance was closed and we had to drive to the west entrance. Of course both passes were closed as well, so we had to go the long way around.

I have no idea how much difference a month makes, but I'd suggest getting some first hand info that the east entrance is open.

Wind is just hammering the coast here, so it looks like my cousin's boat is beached for the weekend. Might have some time for surf casting, although it's tougher to do when you have a beer in hand.
