I got a Plano bow case, a Helinox chair, and my wife and I got a Hilleberg tent from our son. Not sure how he got the time to order it, since he was born 12/9, and it arrived in the mail on 12/12.

Most importantly, my mom found a picture of me being held by my uncle when I was maybe 18 months old and had it restored. Extra special because we my son got his middle name from that same uncle. The gear and "stuff" is great and all, but that one just tugged at the heard strings.

Yes, fairly simple install with minimal swearing and blood. 0-200 extra hp and instant 7 mpg increase. Now it sounds like a jet engine.

Another trip to Alaska to visit with friends. Spent Christmas in Fairbanks. Went dog mushing. Party and gift exchange with some locals who treated us like one of their neighbors. Back down to Willow to stay with friends and help out around the homestead. Heading back home tonight.

I gave my EGR the big "Vaya Con Dios" a couple years ago, and have never regretted it.

And ya, hitting the exhaust brake with high idle is AWESOME!
