I don't think buzz intended his post to be racist, but it was certainly meant to be politically inflammatory, he literally said that as he posted it. For a government worker who's been through decades of EEO training, gotta say he definitely should have known better than to choose a meme that could so easily be misinterpreted and that is so instantly offensive to so many people.
The key point to me is this is a hunting and public land advocacy forum, not sure why it's so hard for so many here to resist posting things unrelated to those topics. There's so many other places on the internet more suited to those posts, and Bigfin has literally begged people to not make his life difficult with political bickering and constant need for moderation.
The meme and humor threads seem to be where people think they get a pass, and honestly though I think some are funny, some I just can't imagine why you'd want to post these things on a hunting forum that is open to children in the first place.
This forum has lost too many good members over a bunch of unrelated bs the last few years, and the quality of content has suffered because of it. Let's give Bigfin the respect he deserves and follow his simple forum rules.
