Somebody told me last night that this morning is opening day. I had no idea. I don't know when I'll manage to get out. Maybe after fall sports end.

I am thinking about going grouse hunting locally today, but I didn’t want to be a dick and go first thing this morning and mess up the deer hunters.

At least I'll have the range to myself as I try to get this muzzy finished setup, and get my daughter some more trigger time for her elk tag in Nov.

edit, I type this from my work desk... because I had to take time off 3 days this week for either doc appointments or sporting events so I get the pleasure of working saturday morning!

I use to scout the night before antelope find the buck I wanted and would be pulling in for breakfast about now. Here is sit at a soccer game. The boys are getting worked over pretty good which I’m actually kinda happy about since my kid is playing goalie. They don’t keep score and he is getting more action
