I will have to see if I can find the official measurements a local official wanted to measure him so I let him but never put him in the books. When I shot him both the base and c1 were over 7 4/8. He is a relly cool buck, deffiantly got the old ticker going when I saw him.
The remote is important I forgot mine a couple times and any little vibration is deffiantly magnified. It takes some getting used to in order to get the picture focused. Ive been shooting pics then adjusting the focus on the scope a little and shooting more trying to get the clearest pics I can. You have to love digital cameras I would be broke if I had to develope all the pics I took to see if they were any good like film. If your target moves at all the pic will be a little blurry too because the camera isnt that fast. For scouting it is pretty slick though for only an extra 150 bucks. Make sure the camera is locked up tight in the spotting scope too. Good luck on your hunt bugler i cant wait to see the pronghorn pics from NM Here is some pics of a mule deer I took this last weekend while goat scouting. I didnt range him but he was over a half mile out. I have some more scouting pics to post as soon as I get them downloaded. Later
Sunday august 7
These are a little late but finally got them downloaded.
Ran into a few deer to start the morning
Saw some hawks flying around and something chasing them on the ground put the glass on it and a badger was chasing the hawks around must of had some food on the ground.
Left the house at 430 and enjoyed another great sunrise
Got into the deer right away when I found a group of eight bucks this first one was taken with the nikon.
The buck on the left is a deep forked buck with great backs
Heres some photos with the dcm of a few of the other bucks.

Its amazing the amount of whitetail that are moving into the sandhills busted these out of a draw. He never gave me a good shot though.
Didnt get very many pronghorn pics they were mainly in the middle of wheat fields and the heat waves had came up so bad the pics werent turning out.
These 2 were with the dcm.
It rained hard last night, reports of up to 2 1/2 inches in less than an hour. Kind of makes for alot of water holes to choose from. Here is a picture out my backdoor.
It did make for a great sunrise this morning with all the fog though.
I didnt know if I would find any animals or not but it didnt take very long to find a group of young bucks.
Then I found this buck not a bad buck, he's got good length for this area.
I deffiantly got to get some remote batteries, mine must of gotten the button pushed and didnt have any juice when I needed it sunday. Makes a big difference. Cant wait to see what bugler brings back on his.
