2025 Wyoming Pronghorn Hunt

Wise choice and nice buck !!
Sounds like numbers are ok there too.

Safe travels home sir.

I would say numbers are about half of what they were in 2018 and 2019 which was the last time I had this tag.

The number of obviously younger smaller bucks makes it look like it is turning the corner though. Never have seen so many young bucks with horns just slightly taller than their ears. Very high buck to doe ratio. Good number of fawns with several does having twins still.

Biggest thing we noticed was that the more remote and flatter spots seemed to hold about 25% of the animals they used to. Some of the areas closer to towns and gas pads and places like that had almost a normal concentration of animals. At least that’s what it seemed like to us.

Congrats. That’s a great looking buck

Sounds very similar to what I experienced last year in Wyoming with numbers and size. Lots of almost bucks but not much for top end. I’m hoping to somehow pull a random tag for the same area in the next couple years and not wait so long as I really liked the area

Beautiful goat! I liked that goofy one but with him on private and the other on public at chip shot range you made the right call. Be safe on the trip home.

Patience paid off! Congrats. That's a really nice representative. I'll be close to that region in 7 days and would be happy to see some of his relatives of the same age range.

Great buck! My tag opens the first and I’m getting amped for it. Your thread only made it worse!
