US and Israel attack Iran

Listening to the cheers of the people in Iran right now as they're learning that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed is inspiring. The opportunity for them to make the changes they've long wanted is now before them.

I don’t understand why some people on Hunttalk are so averse to discussing current events because they have the potential to include politics. Events like this are watersheds for the future of hundreds of millions of people.
Agreed. This could be as important to the Iranian people as The Wall coming down was to Germany.

There may well be regime change. We may not like the new regime any more than the last one.

The ONLY way to get one we like is to install one, and stay, to ensure it lasts.

It is so much easier to start a war than to get out of one.

This will be seen by more than a few countries as us doing Israel's dirty work for them.
The only regime change needed is our own.

I can find it somewhere else. And usually it turns into a shit show. That's why. mtmuley

It takes an epic leap of faith to think either Netanyahu or Trump were motivated by...what's best for the Iranian people.

The west has been mucking up the middle east a good long time. There was a time we decided to topple a democratic government, and install the Shah, because it suited our interest. It took the Iranians a quarter century to topple him, and install their theocratic regime.

One of maybe the only things Iranians can agree on is that they don't want Israel and the US telling them how to govern themselves.

I don't disagree with you on any points. I hope the Iranian people take control of their country and join the international community as a positive member.

All of your statement can be true just as today can & hopefully history will show that this is good for Iran, the Middle East and the world.

What's not well appreciated is that those peoole cheering their supreme leaders death are brave...the regime isnt dead, those cheering might still be targeted for death. Like thousands were who protested recently.
