As someone who was there that day and in the following days its a shame to see how it has been forgotten. So many have forgotten the heroism of our first responders. The fact many in this world wish to destroy us just because we are American. The unity that the attack brought to our divided nation and the American pride so many displayed.
I went on to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq four times following that event and can honestly say I proudly served my country with many diverse and varied great Americans.
Remember our American Flag and our country is not about the politician or a specific group it is about you and us. We The People is who that flag stands for. Remember your American pride and here is hoping for some unity in remembering those horrible attacks, the why, and the people that were lost during the attacks and following events.
