US and Israel attack Iran

because I seem to be the heaviest user of our (future) ai overlords. CHAT gives this a 10-35% chance of creating a "definite" positive outcome for Iran.

It also doesn't put much faith in middle east peace in general (duh).

This may be good for the world, it may not be. Time will tell. I do think the Iranian regime is full of bad guys, but I also don't think we are the good guys anymore.

Eisenhower, president and supreme allied commander of WWII, warned us of the military industrial complex in his farewell speech. Two Kennedy's were assassinated because they wanted a peaceful world. The global war on terror, no matter your opinion on it, funneled enormous wealth from tax payers to politicians and war profiteers.

I was 8 when the towers fell, served in the Army from 19 to 25, I'm 32 now. I'd like my son to grow up with peace and prosperity but that seems unlikely. I have friends and family in the military and I worry what path this takes us down.

Why does the "conversation" about politically charged issues not concerning conservation or access prove beneficial to a hunting focused forum? mtmuley
I’m interested in many things that include topics beyond conservation or access. The popularity of discussions on Hunttalk of topics not directly related to conservation or access seem to indicate that there’s a lot of other folks who feel the same way.

Today’s activities in Iran are some of the most significant in that region in my lifetime. I have a close personal friend and fellow Hunttalk member directly involved in what is happening today.

I view respectful conversations on any topic to be beneficial to a forum regardless of whether I am interested in participating or not. Regardless of whether I agree or disagree with another person on the position they take on any particular topic. My understanding of issues, people and the complexity of viewpoints on many different topics has been influenced and expanded by conversations on Hunttalk.

Wars used to be a money maker. At the end of Vietnam we made big $$ moving surplus from the US bases around the country. I don't think anyone is going to make much $$ from this one.
Trump thinks he will, nothing else motivates him. Except staying out of prison, so this could be a ploy to cancel midterm elections by somehow declaring martial law if he can convince Iran and proxies to attack on US soil. Because he is

Fair enough Gerald. Makes sense but not what I come here for. I'll be more selective. mtmuley

I guess I’m hesitant to believe that taking a leader out in that region is going to actually lead to a positive change.

Show me an example where it has worked and not lead to long term civil war.

I never once said I hated the US. What I hate is endless war and making everyone else's life more difficult. While filling to pockets of blood money to corrupt politians.
🤔🤔🤔 Why are Alberta and Quebec wanting leave Canada ??? Maybe you should focus some of your political energy at home 🤷‍♂️

This attack was just the White House and US military trying to set a smaller fire to starve the fire their bosses in Israel were about to set.
