RMEF Elk Calls

Here is a set of elk calls I donated to the local chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for their banquet.

Just finished them up last night and the banquet is Saturday, nothing like waiting till the last minute!

They are Desert Ironwood and Ebony.

They are up next Ben, I have some Juniper cut back in the early 70's over by Whitehall that the MWF set will be made from. The Juniper finishes up really nice.

You did a great job on those calls. Almost as pretty as the set you made me which, by the way, work good last fall. The only problem I had with them is that they worked on the first raghorn I used it on and then the game was over.

I thought so...I read a letter from RMEF some time back basically ripping MWF for some comments they made about RMEF. Probably is old news. Have the two organizations kissed and made up? Do you support both?

I do support them both, Fin or Ben could answer the other question. They both do good work. Hunters have to be involved and sportsmen groups are the best way. I belong and support four.
