One piece that you have to hunt with?

Fellow HTers,

What is the one piece of clothing, hat or gloves you have to hunt with? I'm talking the piece that if you don't have on, you will blame bad days on!

Mine is a rag-tag "TRCP" blaze hat.

I haddd... my beat up and worn, battered, and oh so beautiful UM Griz hat heartbrokenly placed to eternal rest a few years ago.
Ever since, 17 million wolves have ascended upon my honey-holes.

Cherish your special talisman or you too may find the same fate.

I'll have a lock of wolf hair... eventually and that will stay with me as my replacement.

Lost my Game Hide h/o cap a few years ago. Drove me crazy unsuccessfully looking for it. It's the one thing for me that fits your topic. The new ones fit like a skull cap with a bill...not like a baseball cap.

My woobie always goes with me I've had it about 17 years now.

I have a poncho that doesn't quite cut it. Is that the one you were issued?

I have a Game Hide camo jacket I was gifted before I even got my hunting license. That jacket has lasted amazingly well over the years and has always fit big but it's my favorite jacket. I never go hunting without it and even pack it in if it's too hot.

If I’m bird hunting it’s this old Mountain Prairie bird vest that has to be pushing 25 years old. I got it for Christmas one year. It’s old and cheap but I love it. One these days it’s going to give out though . . .

And of course the browning cap - I mean really, what kind of hunter would I be if the cap and gun didn’t match. Although I’ve been thinking a lot lately that I need a benelli hat.
