It is a choice between American exceptionalism and international appologies and welfare.

If this country has stooped low enough to re-elect that clown show, then we deserve just what we get.

I personally am sick of the international community looking at the U.S. like we are spineless and incompetent. Over a trillion dollars a year in welfare is a national disgrace. A 16 trillion dollar national debt is allowing China to dictate what we do.

National Review magazine published an article about six weeks ago entitled something like, "676 reasons to vote against Obama." I couldn't find one to disagree with.

This cover-up mess with the Benghazi attack is the final straw. I am sure glad I had U.S. Marines coming to my aid in 1970 when we made point-to-point contact with a large force of NVA, and not Democrat political hacks from the Obama Administration. We killed the first four NVA, then all hell broke lose. Two of our seven-man recon team shot and wounded. We were surrounded for 2-1/2 hrs. I called in our situation on my PR-25 radio, and there were Cobra gunships firing miniguns and rockets around us within 20 minutes. Then F-4 Phantoms dropping napham so close we could feel the heat. A CH-46 finally was able to hover over us, door gunners firing non-stop, and we put the point man (he was shot through the body but survived) into a Neal Robertson stretcher and they reeled him up into the chopper. A second Sea Knight got shot out several times, but eventually dropped a ladder to us just before dark. We tied the other radio operator on (he was shot through the shoulder) and we got pulled out, firing down at the NVA while they fired at us and/or the chopper.

Somehow the Marines didn't need "a plan" like dipshit Leon Panetta said. "Standard procedure not to send more troops into harms way before you know the situation." B.S.! If the Marine Corps and their fine pilots had that attitude, I'd be long dead.

The economy is improving, albeit slowly. But remember, we were in a recession and remember who put us there. Two credit card wars put us in debt. That's what people like to forget. Obama has now taken us out of Iraq and soon Afghanistan. If Romney gets in we will stay there and be in Iran soon. It's called the military industrial complex. Look it up, and see the people that are getting rich off of war. Why do you think Romney wants to throw 2 trillion into defense when the military isnt even asking for it?

Obama has Lowered taxes on small businesses 18 times. Tax breaks for companies who hire veterans. Incentives for companies to manufacture their products here. You would agree that manufacturing in the US is rising, wouldn't you? And you would agree it's rising for the first time in a decade, right? If Romney gets in will t hose tax breaks stay, I think so, but you will also see tax breaks for the rich, and who will pay for that? Middle class will pay for that by losing out on tax deductions.

Public land is my biggest issue and why I vote Obama. If Romney had his way public lands would be gone and select few rich ceos would own big farms. This forum would have no need to exist. And I can say that I am far better off then I was 4 years ago, and I know many who would say the same.

There are many other stances and issues that I am in agreement of Obama. Romney is corporate raiding scum. I cant stand him, and it bugs me people are falling for anything he says. He has absolutely no concrete plans out, so it baffles me how people can think he will fix anything. How? We truly dont even know.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The woman named “Democrat of The Year” this year by the Jefferson County Democratic Party has been convicted of felony theft by a Jefferson County jury for stealing from a developmentally disabled 71-year-old woman.

“The jury did right,” said Cindy Maxwell, an advocate for the victim.

On Thursday, a jury convicted 66-year-old Estelle Carson of felony identify theft and felony theft from an at risk adult for stealing checks from the woman and using them to pay her own cable, cell phone and internet bills.

The victim is partially blind, developmentally disabled, has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. She is on a fixed income of $596 per month according to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.

Nearly as bothersome as the theft itself to Maxwell and other supporters of the victim, is the fact the Jefferson County Democratic Party was made aware of the ongoing criminal investigation and honored Carson anyway.


According to documents obtained by CBS4, in November of 2011, the Jeffco Democratic Party announced it planned to honor Carson for her activism on behalf of Democratic causes and her efforts to register voters.

But three days before the January 8 gala, advocates for the victim contacted the party via email and phone informing them of the criminal investigation.

One wrote “I am completely appalled,” to learn of the planned honor. The woman suggested the Democratic Party should “un-invite Estelle and not follow through with this honor.”

Cindy Maxwell told CBS4 she informed Democratic Party officials that Carson had already confessed to the theft as part of the investigation.

But Chris Kennedy, chairman of the Jefferson County Democratic party, dismissed the concerns saying there was not a conviction and bestowed the “Democrat Of The Year” honor on Carson.

In an email following the event, Kennedy wrote, “After much consideration, my decision was that the award being presented by my organization and the alleged financial exploitation need to be compartmentalized, one having no bearing on the other. Thus I decided to present the award to Estelle.”

“I thought it was outrageous,” said Maxwell, “I was appalled.”

Kennedy reiterated to CBS4 that he went ahead with the award because Carson had only been accused, not convicted.

“I did not have reason to believe it was true,” said Kennedy.

Now that Carson has been convicted, Cindy Maxwell is asking the Jefferson County Democratic Party to rescind the honor.

“I’d like to see her stripped of that award. I have been a Democrat my entire life. I’m disappointed they would allow something like that to happen,” said Maxwell.

CBS4 called Estelle Carson but her voicemail message said her mailbox was full. She is due in court in December for sentencing. She faces a maximum of nine years in prison for the two felony charge

Part of the problem with this country and the voting is that we tend to look at one issue and vote because of it. You HAVE to look at the big picture and what is happening to the whole country.

The public lands issue can be fought through congressmen and it ain't gonna fly. It does not matter what happens to it, though, if the country has fallen apart.

Go ahead and vote the "one issue" line, and leave a commander-in-thief in position to coninue raising welfare, making the U.S. a laughing stock, being weak on terrorism and attacking businessmen and wealth as being evil.

Anybody that in clear conscience is still going to vote for Obama after all that he has done-especially the Benghazi incident-needs to open their eyes and look at the disaster that he has created since taking office. Just look at the list of his marxist czars. It is scarey as hell.

Romney is rich-SO WHAT? Obama is rich also, but the difference is that nobody knows how he got his money as he has never had a job. Romney has created jobs for thousands of people and is willing to work with the other side-Obama hasn't and won't. Wake up people, this is a turning point for our country.

Obama has to go. I'm sick of busting my A$$ everyday working 2 jobs and seeing all the lazy, druggie, scumbags, getting all of the perks. As long as these people are getting paid more to sit at home guess what? I think that in order to get welfare etc, they should have to pass a drug test before they get a check. I'm sure everyone of these people getting taken care of by us working men will be at the poles voting thats for sure. . .I mean whatelse do they have to do? Here's my take on the election: The voters don't want the facts. They want to have their preconceived notions validated so they believe the advertising and spin doctors rather than spend 20 minutes doing a google search looking for the truth.
