Haven't posted on here in a while as I've been finishing up my last year of residency, finding a lady friend worth keeping around, looking for a "real job", and of course hunting. This has been a year that I could have only dreamed of and i wanted to share a few photos from this past 4 months.

It all started in Utah this year as my buddies and I headed up there for an archery hunt which we all ended up filling our tags. We didn't shoot anything big but it was a great time and time well spent with good friends.

My buddy also put together a really cool video about the hunt that is worth checking out: http://vimeo.com/48763521

Once we got back home my two main hunting buddies both filled their archery bull tags here in AZ and then I had mine two weeks later on a limited opportunity rifle hunt. I was very fortunate to kill my biggest bull on the fourth day of the hunt. He ended up going right at 340" with some really cool character.

To top off that hunt we were able to fill another buddies first elk tag that same evening as we were in the process of packing my bull out.

Then this past weekend we were able to pull on Opening Day Trifecta on coues deer on some leftover tags here in AZ.

It started with Stan taking this buck with his two boys out on their first deer hunt with him

Followed by Ron and I doing a double that evening on some bucks we had located early in the morning.

My goal was to take a buck bigger than I did last year and I did so in a big way by cracking the 100" mark. He ended up scoring around 103" and i'm completely stoked with this deer.

I don't know how I will be able to top this season off but I'm excited about trying to do so one of these years. The best part is that it isn't even over yet as I have another coues trip planned for Mexico this January...:D

That's a fantastic year man, that elk's a slob.

Good luck in Mexico!

Thanks guys. And yeah, I'm keeping the taxidermist busy this season. Thankfully I will have areal job by the time they are ready to be picked up.
