MT residents thoughts on Steve Bullock

Just adds to the platform-less circus at this point.
I actually think Bullock would have a good platform, but he will never get through the liberal, demo socialist, progressive, communist, etc... mud and goo to ever be seen or heard. This is a major shame to. That the democratic party has come to the point where a non communist Democrat wont even be able to be heard. Cause they have lost their damn minds!

I think the craziness is wearing thin on all the normal electorate. Time will tell.

I think and hope your right. The freak show has gone on long enough. I think some Democrats are thinking were just missing the bearded lady and we could sell tickets.

Last cycle, you had 19 principle-based Republicans and one clown; it didn't take much for the the clown to get a plurality.

This cycle, you have 20 (at last count) Democrats trying to out-clown each other to the edge, and two moderates. One of them has high name ID but is quite old (not apologizing for disfavoring someone who would be an octogenarian in his first term). Not to mention that in the nominations, the red states still get a say. Bullock has a viable path, especially if he can get an early bump from a good (top 3) showing in Iowa.

I would simply advise against single issue voting until we have single issue government. Also, as Fin said, he’s not likely to win the nomination in a two party system. Our government is designed in a such a way that only two parties can have long term and/or high level success. It would require a change to something that more closely resembles a parliamentary system for more than two parties to thrive. That comes with its own advantages and disadvantages.

One plus for Bullock, is that statistically- based on their ages and the lifespan of the average American, the chance both D front runners kick the bucket before the primaries are held is much better than your odds of drawing that tag that you’ve drawn a few times. 😀

Drawing a tag in the past has absolutely zero impact the odds of drawing a tag in the future. Just saying.

I'm voting single issue at this point. The candidate that is most sain is getting my vote. 😜

Apparently Jersey Gianforte is placing his name in the hat for Governor.
