Its our state, and the voters' will shall be granted.

If you don't like it you have two options. 1) move here and vote next time 2) don't buy the license

But I'd appreciate it if you didn't whine about it

Not going through the threads that oak posted, but with all the piss on the outfitter comments, i would have though the vote to go otherwise:):)

My vote has been cast................;)

I'd have to say I'm on the fence, even after reading the booklet explaining their version of the pros and cons. I want to see the set asides go away, but I'd rather pay more for my license or have a BMA stamp to make up the difference instead of raising the prices substantially. I have a friend or 2 that like to come out occassionally but still have a hard time with the NR prices as is. I belive the everyday hard working person should still be able to afford a NR tag if they make it through the draw. Perhaps when my financial siphon (ex-wife) goes away I may feel different but I have at least 5 more years before I reach parole.

I want the guaranteed licenses to go away as well. I'm still on the fence..leaning towards voting for it though.

I'd be in favor of doubling the cost of resident licenses. $85 for birds, fishing, conservation, state lands, deer, elk, bear, etc. is ridiculous.

This is beating a dead horse but, more private land will get leased
not by outfitters, but by out-a-staters with big money.

This won't be pretty, there will be some major wars if this passes.

Not with outfitters but with landowners and hunters

Blue Yummies, are you working a deal with Mike and Guy for your place? Can I hunt your place next year? I'm good for a case of old mil and some antelope sausage (vintage 2004) from my fridge come Christmas time, you can count on it!

Thought my post might stir a little comment...check the pie chart on FGWP web site as to where funding comes fron....NR's opt out, your Res lic goes way up!
I don't like Outfitter deal now....they gobbled up land I antelope, Muley, pheasant, sharptail and turkey hunted on with a handshake and a buddy....I don't have a solution but this referendum does not appear to make it better!

Non residents will still come, they did before set asides. I have 4 acres Greenhorn, for the old mil you can hunt it anytime. You can keep the sausage. :)

Yummie, as I have mentioned before, I will gladly spend more money for the hunting opps in MT.

What are you charging for those mediocre deer on your website?
