Once again Thanks to OYOA for such a Great gift !!!
I called Leupold shortly after recieving the scope and ordered the dials for my two pet loads. Took about 3 weeks to get here, but all was good, I didn't have the time to play anyway,
I finally got a chance to do some range work with it today. I mounted her on my Ruger M77 SE, in 7mm/08. It did juuuuussssttttt fine !
The view was clear, with very little edge shadow, adjustments precise and clear. The magnification dial firm, but smooth.
I started out with my standard hunting load, 150 Nosler BT's at 2650. (not a Screamer, but does the job) Three 3 shot groups under 3/4 ". LOVE those BT's !
OK. Let's play !
Barnes 120 TSX's at 2950 ~ 3100. RL-15, Varget, & 4064. Varget got the best group, inside a dime. RL-15 the best volicity. None past an inch. Gonna take some more time to decide.....
