HB 514 signed

@TreeSHART started it. But go ahead and name some wildlife success stories coming out of Montana besides elk on private land, or groundbreaking research coming out of Montana. I already derailed a good thread but since you asked. Deer are in the toilet, antelope are in the toilet. Public land elk hunting is combat hunting. What are we getting from these nonresident dollars? Think about how bad it could be? That is the usual response. 10 days of less bird hunters sounds great though.

I didn’t ask anything, but do carry on.

Enjoy the 10 days.

I purchased a MacBook not long ago. Considering I helped fund Apple, I believe I'm entitled to more than the MacBook and it's tech support. I'm not a shareholder but I have to be entitled to some of Apple's profits and a few perks. I think I'll go for a swim at the current CEOs estate this weekend or maybe catch a ride in his jet considering I funded it.

Oh, I know what you're thinking.......but, but, but theres federal land involved. You are correct and you are free to enjoy that as long as it doesn't include hunting outside of the rules and laws developed by the state of Montana. The wildlife is owned by the citizens of Montana.

Your license entitles you to hunt within the rules set forth by the State of Montana. If you don't like the rules, don't play the game. Go hunt SD for upland where you can only hunt 10 days.

I didn't really purchase a MacBook, especially once I learned it didn't make me a shareholder or eligible for a ride in the company jet.

I’m no expert like you. Why do you think this wouldn’t apply to Hungarian partridge?… clearly an upland species in Montana and not a mountain grouse.

Section 10 of the bill says all species excluding mountain grouse.

So Huns are included.
