Montana wants your money.
Think they wouldngt sell? You must hate block management
It would be a sweet combo for buck maturity: all the tags would still sell, and the people willing to buy them are likely to shoot the first forkie they seeThink they wouldngt sell?
@TreeSHART started it. But go ahead and name some wildlife success stories coming out of Montana besides elk on private land, or groundbreaking research coming out of Montana. I already derailed a good thread but since you asked. Deer are in the toilet, antelope are in the toilet. Public land elk hunting is combat hunting. What are we getting from these nonresident dollars? Think about how bad it could be? That is the usual response. 10 days of less bird hunters sounds great though.
Ok, I will withdraw my amendment due to hostility.Yes. You can have the first 10, but lose the last 20 days.

I’m no expert like you. Why do you think this wouldn’t apply to Hungarian partridge?… clearly an upland species in Montana and not a mountain grouse.No. Nor does it apply to Mountain grouse (Ruffed, Dusky & Spruce). it only applies to sharptail, sage and pheasant.
I guess I’ll have to hunt Montana doves and Assiniboine grouse next year.
