    Rod here, from Deer Lodge. I'm already working on elk permits 2026 lol. Thinking about Elk 621. I seen your from the area. Trying to get away from pressure an endless humans lol. I have 19 elk bonus points. I know 621, 620 an 410, elk numbers seem to be low. I was also looking at 690. So looking at hunter access, pressure an bull quality. Any ideas, thoughts an suggestions, would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    Elk Numbers were low this year. Hunter numbers high.
    Personally I’d not waste my time in the breaks.

    I just posted on HB 245 that Kary has amended the bill to state that the dept may not limit the number of licenses or permits in those units above the sustainable population number. I don't think this is what you or I want to see happen. Unlimited rifle permits in the Breaks????
