Latest APR. SENT TO me by a friend

I realize that for those who do not live this life it is more difficult to understand. Once a “non-profit entity” , like APR, owns a piece of land the likelihood of ever winding up in sustainable production Ag is zero. The less ag land we have the less chance future generations of Montana...

My best guess is that a former director of APR will be proven correct (as will I). Hunting will be ok under current director, who has a vision and love of hunting, until replaced by a different board. I hope I live long enuf to say, yet one more time, “Told U so”. They’ll end run the...

All they’ll do is end run it, just like I would in their position… it’s about production ag… pretty easy to sell 10-40-100 bison and claim to be in “ag-production “. If I’m smart enuf to figure that out I’d bet I didn’t just give the secret away.. their lawyers would be light years ahead of my...

I know of one who isn’t afraid to jack the R price up.😁. You can’t believe the pushback I got when I suggested it last session.

    Outfitting on Public lands

Their counts are off, way off. Dept hasn’t been counting elk on private land from what I’m hearing.

    Outfitting on Public lands

Which is why we need a limited number of elk license good for private land only.

    Outfitting on Public lands

That came about in light of the fact numbers were cut previously without justification.

    Outfitting on Public lands

The reason for that is the high numbers of elk in 7.

    Outfitting on Public lands

As opposed to public land hunters who pay ZERO?? Seems as if the pot can’t see it is also black, alas, the poor kettle.

    Outfitting on Public lands

I don’t see outfitters over exploiting anything here in R6&7. What I see are outfitters taking few to no clients, in spite of having high demand for their services.
