Fun stuff in Wheatland?

Headed for a job site near Wheatland Wyoming on Friday. Any good restaurants or bars or beer stops? Gonna work long hours, but I want to look around a bit. mtmuley

Though a bit of a drive into Laramie, but Altitude Chophouse and Brewery and Lovejoy's are good eats with good (to me and I'm not a beer snob) beers.

I spent a lot of time in Wheatland waiting for the interstate to open. Mixed bag has a good assessment.

Drove through there last fall didn't seem that big, they have a railroad and some kind of national guard depot with a landing strip I believe.

I have a friend that lives there.He does very well fishing walleye in the reservoir close by.That town not being much fun is an understatement;unless its hunting season

The nice thing about Glendo is you can catch some big Walleye, and watch a knife fight at the same time.

The library, steamboat oats and cream stout....is where it's at. Burgers are good too.

That'd be GreyRocks reservoir east of Wheatland. Nice TigerMuskies, and bass too, besides the walleye. No Knife fights though!
