Devils lake ice fishing

Heading to Devils Lake North Dakota in january to spend a couple days with the perch patrol. Hopefully when I return I will have lots of pics to post and fish to fry. I love those midwinter fish fries with good friends and good whiskey.

Have you been there and done that? I've never been able to drive past the Waubay, SD area. I'm sure they both have their fair, good and banner years. Good luck, and yes, please share the pics!

I will have an early season report after Monday, a bunch of guys from headed over there last night. Sounds like the perch have been on the bite. Stupid work got in the way for me and I have to take my revenge out on the waterfowl this weekend.

I have never fished Devils Lake before. I do most of my icefishing on the mississippi river. I have a cabin in south west Wisconsin where I spend as much time as possible.

And to nemont, a weekend shooting waterfowl doesnt sound like a bad time at all.
