Wolves are hunters. To paraphrase a wise man on Hunttalk, we don't all have to eat from the same plate to eat at the same table. Wolves aren't like the gun control plan to take ammo away any more than bow hunting is like the gun control plan to take ammo away.

I disagree. They just get the red folks redder. I can see Colorado red folks getting upset but Colorado, and the nation, are getting purpler as time goes on. The more red folks get their way, the purpler we become.

If wolves aren't in CO and there are no regs, is it unethical to shoot something that doesn't exist?

You are color blind and lack perception. It's green, not blue, and it's brandished, not "showing." Now, if it were red, then yes, I'd be embarrassed.

The question of "If wolves aren't in CO" is not a question of law. Rather, it is a question of fact. Thus, if they are in CO the regs do apply. The burden of proof is upon the shooter. If a body intentionally violates those regs then they are a poacher and a criminal POS who deserves whatever they (red?) would wish upon a teen who steels a Jag, not to mention losing their right to carry and their right to hunt. But, if they merely mistake a wolf for a coyote, then they should be fined and forced to take a hunter education course on how to be sure of their target before engaging. It's really quite simple.
