Looks like I drew my 8th archery deer tag in a row based on Oak's explanation of what to look for. Since his info is essentially spot on, I'll start making plans!

If it reads "2014" next to your points, your totals have been updated. If it reads "2013" they have not.
Unless you went into the draw with zero points.

Huh, I went up a point. Guess I'll hope for that illusive 2nd choice tag.
Last year I drew the same tag with zero points, point creep rears it's ugly head and he's moving east more and more...:W:

I'm new to the backdoor process..... What I see is "2014-491 Non Res Deer App" & "2014-059 Habitat Stamp With A license" Am I looking at the right thing? Any information will be helpful, thanks...

I had put me and my daughters in for first choices which we shouldn't have a chance of drawing. I can't even remember what I put myself in for. I checked my daughters and they are updated but mine has nothing. We all went in with 0 points. Does this meen I drew? Could my app have been disqualified? They took my money.

I think you might be looking at the wrong thing. The bottom of the screen for the draw results and preference points should look like this.

If you haven't ever applied before and don't have any points the list of UNSUCCESSFUL's won't be there and you will just have the current preference point information at the bottom.

Looks like I'm waiting on Wyoming for a chance at a deer tag. My son put in for Colorado unit 2 with 9 points and he now has10ponts.

No locks anymore brother - plenty of wrenches. There are vouchures and PLO tags a plenty, that is the new 'Lock' method. imo, drawing these days is like playing CO Lotto and love the games they have for us ; preferrance point, weighted points, fishing tags, habitat stamps, and short seasons)
Yeh, I did not draw deer either, sorry for my poor attitude, BUT, BEAR points are gone and so summer scouting, and going on a bear hunt Sept 2nd.

My son got his doe tag on the Air Force Academy and I got my point as planned. I will be interested to see how the Academy hunt goes. With a month to hunt (all of December) and it only being 5 min from the house, we should be in for some good action. Hopefully it will give me some insight as to my planning of saving my points for a buck tag there. We will see.

I could go from the Blodgett Peak Open Space along the trail to the back entrance but they get a little touchy about bringing fierearms in that way
