Colo elk hunt

I haven't been on here for a couple months but I thought I would share my hunt. I went on an archery elk hunt the last week of Sept. First time elk hunting for me. We had some crazy weather rain, hail, wind and some snow.

Since I had never elk hunted before and going with a bow I was looking to shoot the first thing I had an opportunity on. We got to camp Sat morning and I saw elk Sunday and Monday and found a trail with fresh tracks on it Monday sat on it for the evening and had a small group come by. Here is the results a nice size cow at 25 yards, this is also the first big game animal I have harvested with a bow.
