What are you guys paying for gas?

Growing up, my best friends dad had a free standing gas tank out by their shop.
He had the suspicion that someone was helping themselves as the tank was not lasting as long as normal.
He told everyone that was allowed to use it, to not use it until he gave them the OK.

He took the hose and filter off and filled them with motor oil. A couple days later a neighbor kid comes driving up the road with his truck blowing smoke like a freight train.
Turns out he was stealing a 5 gallon can pretty regular.

Yeah, that's some solid work on your part...I'll believe the price I pay at the pump over your work as a part time Sherlock reject. Filled up last week, $2.79, filled up on January 21, 2025 for $2.29.

PS, look at the map on your link for Albany county.

Oh, and for your educational purposes.

Read it and weep, Sherlock:

Laramie was $2.29, Casper was $2.13...unlike you, I'm not forced to guess.
