Duct tape is on everyone's list, but I will wrap an 8-10" piece on each of my pack straps that way I always have a little bit with me without taking the whole roll.

I do this with electrical tape over the muzzle. Wrap a little bit around the barrel in case I shoot or need it for something else.

many years ago, I found a pop tart carrying case at the grocery story. The outside is even shaped to look like a pop tart. It keeps my afternoon snacks from turning into crumbled mush in my pack.

Body Glide makes stuff just for feet and this goes with me everywhere. No idea how it's different from the regular stuff, but it works to keep heel blisters at bay. Also, The Deuce of Spades is now in my pack for every trip.
