Tebow Time!

Great game for certain...

Can someone explain to me that backward pass - why denver elected to not challenge the play? Should that not have been ruled a fumble? Think it was early 3rd quarter(?)

Incomplete pass - thus unable to challenge the play?

You cant challenge a play once a referee has already blown the whistle and signaled an incomplete pass...thus this ruling i believes needs some thought process, should it be that just cuz he signaled incomplete pass should it not be allowed to be reviewed...that seems unfair in my opinion. I mean if they can call a touchdown by a signal and it wasnt its still reviewable...am i wrong!?

Whistle blew, so the play was dead before possession was accomplished by the Broncos. As the whistle had blown, the play was dead at that point, and ruled as an incomplete pass, back to the line of scrimmage we go. Coach Fox did challenge the results of the play at first, then was advised of the "inadvertant whistle, and then informed that whether it was ruled forwards or backwards, the play would stand BECAUSE of the whistle. The NFL has come out to say that nearly the same sort of circumstances occured in the earlier game, and the ball was awarded to the defense even though the whistle had blown (incorrectly as it turns out). The correct call should have seen the offense keeping the ball.

More and more, the end of a play is not signaled by a whistle on the field until and unless the ref KNOWS he KNOWS where the ball is down, and sometimes it seems as if there is no audible whistle at all, the players just know the play is done.

I am Christian, but JMHO that Tebow could keep some of his stuff to himself and not have to pray every time something, good/bad happens. Just think his kind of stuff could be taken care of on his private time.

Same here, the Christian part, but I'm of the opposite opinion. Brother is a light shining bright on a hill.

Gawd forbid anything starts going on with their next game, there will be a ton of praying going on. Just saying leave it at home for before and after the game.......

I think if they beat the Patriots, the chatholic church will declare it a miracle.I like the Broncos much better the NE,but lets get real about their chances

At least he gets down on a knee and prays, instead of pointing to the sky after every play! I think it is great there is a player with christian values that isn't ashamed to show it.

Everyone ought to worship God according to his own inclinations, and not to be constrained by force.

"Jesus said, "Everyone therefore who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32,33).

I'm not a pats fan but I'm thinking the broncos have done all the winning they are going to do this year. Besides if the broncos lose I don't have to listen to any more tea bag I mean tebow talk. I don't think he is a horrible player and he can pray on the field as much as he would like I just can't stand that the media and all of the highlight reels all I see is tebow talk and it is starting to get old.
Oh yeah and go niners!

I am a huge Tebow fan and the reason why is that he is a strong Christian and he stands up for what he believes in. Even when people make fun of him or say that they are Christians too but that Tebow just needs to pray at home it doesnt even phase him. He will stand up for Christ every day and I think that is awesome.

How many times as hunters do we get attacked by non hunters? All the time and yet we will stand and fight for our hunting rights. Big Fin and Critter are chasing wolves right now and if they just kept their beliefs about wolf hunting to themselves they would be at home right now wishing they could hunt wolves.

I am sick and tired of people saying that everyone should have the freedom to say and do whatever they want. But if someone believes in Jesus that he needs to keep his mouth shut. Or that we need to stop hunting animals because it will hurt PETA's feelings. It is just garbage and we have to stand together as hunters and as Christians.

Good luck Tebow

Thanks!
Kevin

Maybe we should start playing football in churches...time and place for everything.

Just sayin'...

Maybe we should start playing football in the casinos since they like to pretend to roll dice and pick up their invisible cash.

I can respect tebow as a person and I really don't care if he prays on the field but does tebow praying need to be the only thing ESPN shows on tv? I just think he is average as a QB.

Well its all about the ratings when it comes to ESPN so if showing Tebow praying all the time is going to boost ratings then that's what ESPN is going to do.

As for being an average QB, if you compare his first season as a starter to Tom Brady's first year as a starter they are pretty close in comparison. Now that Elway seems to be on board with Tebow he will have a chance to work with him in the off season and he is definitely a work in progress. He still has a long way to go before he is even considered to be a great QB. But with that being said he plays hard every single snap and that is also what I like about him.

Is that a Tebow problem or ESPN problem?

...all stupid antics on the field annoy me...praying, some dumbass handshake, a dumb end-zone celebration, etc. etc. etc.

Its a game they're being payed huge money to play...act like a professional and spare us the baggage...

Its entertainment they're being payed huge money to entertain

Homage to a diety is onerous to you Buzz...Soul Train is onerous to me...the networks could care less what we both think as long as Doritos are being crunched and Budweiser is being swilled.

...fact.
