I'm sure its rare, but a friend of mine showed me a similar pic of his tire with an unfired cartridge stuck through it, much like your flat. Very interesting, but still sucks when it's your tire.

Weirdest one I’ve had was when I ran over a push rod for a v8 engine and stuck it in my tire on the way to work in a mechanic shop.

It’s amazing what can go in a tire. I had a 1/2” bolt in a tire one time. I could spend eternity with a hammer and not drive that bolt in a tire. You better save that as a souvenir. It’s gotta be a rare feat.
