Remington 700 Long Range...Brakes?

Understood. But you started with a rifle that is under 600 bucks new. Then scope and bipod. I was merely curious what else you did to it. mtmuley

hansontyrel, what type of competitions are you shooting? My sons shoot some long-range tactical style matches, I've gone to several with them and it is a lot of fun. It's a great sport, but a guy can start spending the kind of money you're talking very quickly in optics alone. Post up some pics of your gun when you're done. As to your original question, if you've got a local gunsmith that you've used or that comes highly recommended, check with the gunsmith it seems many make brakes that fit seamlessly to the barrel (I'm still biased towards suppressors though) and can Cerakote for you as well.
