Sweet - I was thinking about getting some of these - now I'll see how I like them. Awesome pictures throughout this thread.

Thanks Randy & MR!!

Amen, Big John.

Ruby River at night. This river is special to my family. My Maternal Grandfather was a pastor in the valley in the late 1940's - early 1950's and my great-great uncle Jack was a silver miner. I still have his fly wallet with the inscription: Jack Kramer, Sheridan Montana and a few now obsolete wet fly patterns. I love this river and this valley dearly:

Dave between that hog bear this spring and winning this contest, you are starting out the year with a bang. Keep it up!

Ross - if I can just score me an archery bull.....that's really all I want! I just hope the luck continues, I need it. Thx for the well wishes.

Kenai River, AK. Yes, it really is that color.

Not my picture, but my hunting partner snapped this with his iPhone one morning. We were hunting a USFW Waterfowl Production Area in late October and had the place to ourselves. Ended up killing a limit of beautiful wigeon and pintail. They were the first ducks of the season we had shot in full plumage. I had that picture blown up, matted, and framed to remind me of that awesome morning.

Antelope scouting in Custer County, MT. I've killed my last antelope in this spot and that makes me sad all day.

The upper Ruby. One of my new favorite places. Sucks I didn't get a chance to fully experience it until a week before I moved away.

The Montana-Idaho border. Looking into the St. Joe and Clearwater Country. This photo was taken on the 100th anniversary of the Big Burn of 1910, on my way to a celebration in Avery, Idaho. Over 2 days, 3 million acres burned, and every ridgeline visible in this picture was included in that - Nearly all of it public land.
