OT: Leah accepted :)

I've posted a few times about a young lady that I have taken on hunts. Her family doesn't hunt so it's an opportunity for me to give her new hunting and fishing experiences. I have been mentoring (that's a scary thought) Leah the last 3 years as she desires to become a DVM. She's absolutely fabulous.

Well, after studying hard Leah applied to Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After 2 1/2 years of undergrad, achieving a 4.0 GPA and meeting the high standards required by the college........ she received an E-mail notifying her that she has been accepted to the College of Veterinary Medicine for the fall of 2017.

I am so PROUD of this young lady (hope that doesn't sound like bragging). Leah is truly "the daughter I never had"
