Hunters who applied for 2011-2012 licenses for oryx, special turkey, and bear licenses on Wildlife Management Areas will be able to check their results beginning at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, on the Department of Game and Fish website, www.wildlife.state.nm.us, or in person at any Department office.

I'm not sure I'll wait up until 1:01 am Central time, but I'll be checking first thing in the morning.

Just my second year applying and with the reduction in license numbers the odds are down below 10%, but I can always hope!
