Yup, back in the day like the 90's we could draw a tag almost every year for the Ruby's or Jarbidge oe even the Ely area. But that was before 20-30 years of drought and our deer numbers crashed.
As an example the Ruby's area had 2988 tags for the early season and 1953 for the late season.
Here are the numbers for the 1991 season.
The Jarbidge area had 4022 tags. These are only the rifle tags so you can see how far the deer herd had fallen.
Only a couple more days till we find out if we drew anything this year.
