You need to stop your daily life for three days prior and that entire season. Period. Short term medical leave, fake your funeral, whatever you need to do. Do not “ give it a week “. Have not hunted it hopefully someone chimes in for you. Congratulations!!!

Youre not kidding. I'm already trying to cope with abandoning a NM archery bull tag and maybe turning in my CO archery lope tag. Gonna be a crazy busy fall regardless. The draw gods were generous.

Drew 051 Mule Deer with 14 points! Any insight would be great.

Need to start burning through some of these points where possible. Might be the only NV tag I ever draw with the odds.

What kept you from participating in hunting forums previously? Odds you will stick around are generally ZERO in this situation. Just so you know, and not busting on you but posts such as yours are a dime a dozen and precious few guys in this suituation contribute to this community of hunters. It MIGHT affect the robustness of response you get and might not.

BIL got longer than and an archery muley tag, everybody else struck out, I got lucky with a late rifle muley in 16, first tag in a good while. Really looking forward to it.

1. NV Pronghorn Buck (Aug)
2. ID OTC Bull Elk (Sept)
3. NV Mule Deer Buck (Oct - plus year round optional Mountain Lion tag)
4. MN Whitetail (Nov); and
5. NV Spike Elk (Dec)
