It is WAY past my bed time but wanted to get this off to those who have contributed since my last post. Thank you gentlemen !

I think two tapes instead of one will now be in the works and that is a good thing.

I thank each and everyone who contributed, but sometimes one might forget a tune and then remember it and also remember a "time and place". A couple of songs suggested did that.

Souvenirs, I carry a John Wayne charm, so this one "hit home"

The movie the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, ----- Garth's, The Dance,----- George and Tammy, ------ B and D 's , Red Dirt Road could have been written from my ( our ) life.

There's been a few duets of the past such as Sinatra and Fitzgerald, however, it wasn't until Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga did their duet that "Lady Gaga" really emphasised the meaning behind, The Lady Is A Tramp that I really spent a few moments to listen to the words versus the tune. Her name turns me off though her voice thoroughly overcomes.

Sytes, always enjoyed that Tune and parts of it fit, but not all (-: Definitely not the hair. As an aside, my granddaughter suggested a year or so ago that we dye my hair and I told her it would take a lot more than changing my hair color (-: or )-;

.But if I do, it will not be whatever color her's is (-; I also enjoyed our time in California. I was very fortunate yesterday to have a conversation with Brittany Chukaman about calif and it brought back beautiful memories. Not just the Troubadour, but the Palomino, the Bear, as well as 101 ( Laguna, Balboa, Hunting Beach, Long Beach, Hollywood, Catalina ) as well as a little sports car conversation ------- Thank you Brittany.

Admittedly, I hadn't heard this song until I heard John Legend play it.
From Simon and Garfunkel to Aretha Franklin, they all did this one with the passion it deserves.

Simon and Garfunkel shared the impressed use of a few lines regarding, "sail on" that struck with my thoughts of your travels and the symbolism it bestows. I noticed John legend chang ed those lines to fit his intent. with that I thought I'd share Simon and Garfunkel's version as well.
