I always thought getting your D s’ed by a staffer was a right of passage for a married democrat.
Maybe he will hit 1%

Republicans just have mistresses they pay off with hush money, right?

The rumors about Bullock are false. Dude is a dedicated family man. This is started by some right wing crazies like Ed Butcher & Co., and it was trotted out endlessly during the 16 race when Gianforte was spending hundreds of thousands on opposition research.

I am just barely old enough to remember the right's outrage over Clinton and his improprieties. We've now got a Very Stable Genius who was boogerin a P-star while the wife was home with the new baby. "Grab em by the pu...."

Do scandals even matter anymore?

Just for the "other" side. Intellectual consistency is one of the first casualties of politics.

Ben, it wasn’t a criticism.

The answer is no, when it comes to sex. It's as old as time and will never stop. They will just get better at covering it up. I've seen it from many people that you would never expect it from. Even the people that call people out in judgement have had their secrets. It's between a person and the one they are married to. Sad, but true when it deals with that kind of natural body chemistry.

As long as they do good stuff for our country, I don't care what people do in their private live.

And that, that, and that. The issues go deeper than the cheating allegations. Whatever went down between Bullock and his 2nd former Lt. Gov has not been satisfactorily explained. Also, his former staffer seemed to have been moved about favorably despite his demonstrated harassment. And then there's the pesky issue of all the confidential settlements.

I don't know the man personally and many attest to his good persona, but there's plenty here that has been obfuscated, for whatever reason. Questions and whispers started long before the 2016 election and it's unfair to paint these legitimate questions as conspiracy theories.

I think in this day and age, there's always bound to be rumors and people who will try to capitalize on them regardless of where the truth lies. These same rumors that you bring up were vetted in the 16 campaign and didn't move the needle much one way or another. The staffer thing is a non-story as well. We've become desensitized to the mundane scandals of interpersonal relationships & such over the last 3 years. If these two issues are what people have against Bullock, it's going to be a cake-walk for him if he gets through the primary.

I mean, it's not like his staff consistently violates the Hatch Act, or that he pays off porno stars for affairs. ;)

In a nutshell Ben, Bullock hasn't institutionally endeared himself to the money shakers...there's a reason Uncle Joe came out of the gate strong.

2008 was Hillary's turn. 2016 was Jeb's.

Funny things happen when Americans don't agree w/ the landed gentry.

The fact that he’s flip flopped on numerous issues that he’s campaigned on, border protection, supporter of the 2a. He is for the ban on all semi autos.

His viewpoint all depends on where he/himself wants to go. Very unfortunate.

When he launched his campaign for President when asked what was your greatest accomplishment as Montana’s governor....”uh,... ummmm,....uh..” then finally getting to Medicaid expansion. This is over the course of 8 years. This tells me a lot about him as a candidate.
