I hiked in with him once to pull his elk camp the year he got the big D.... I was amazed that a 30 pack could be hauled in 10 miles with 3K elevation. Fortunately there was a lot still there and we staggered back to the truck than night in the dark via headlamps. Good thing back then he did not drink Hopzone yet, or we would have never made it out. Keep at it Kurt, it will happen.
