You would think a state that supposedly values open spaced public-lands and the associated outdoor recreation on those lands would not take kindly to this announcement and would seem to be fodder for Forstag and Bodnar?

Based on this thread, nobody knows what it means and won't for a long time.

It doesn't sound like a win for conservation or public lands to me though . . .

All I was saying is if Trump can make these empty "promises" I would think opponents could use those to their advantage quite easily with the voters of Montana.

I don’t see this ever happening. If it gains more traction, I will voice my opposition and I would expect most other Montanans to do the same.
