First Elk

Got my first elk ever during general rifle season in Utah. This bull was taken on public land! Had to pack him out 2.5 miles. Would have been happy getting a spike so this was a bonus. Bull is a 6x5, however it is difficult to see the 6th point in the pics. I now can say that I have the elk fever, and want to get one with my bow now. Until next season...
