Got word earlier today from Ryan Semerad that Iron Bar is looking to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court over corner crossing.

Had a lengthy discussion with Ryan and Lee Mickus about this a month ago, they think the case is solid and if the USSC hears the case they expect a favorable ruling. It was interesting and informative listening to them discuss the case in relation to how it would play out at the Supreme Court. I hope they're right, they have been so far.

Would the USSC even hear this case? And as has already been asked, if they did would it have a wider impact?

Should be interesting to watch this unfold. I’m no lawyer, but the 10th Circuit seemed like it was confident in its ruling. Hopefully that holds true.

I’m surprised they want them to hear it. It was best for landowners when it was a gray area. Seems pretty straight forward to me.
My guess is Eshelman figures he’s in it to win it at this point. He can’t lose by pressing forward and probably could care less about the fallout for every other landowner outside the 10th circuit.

I guess being an ultra-rich asshole works to our advantage when he is willing to sink the ship and take every one of his peers down with him.
