Corner crossing SCOTUS appeal

If his main motivation is the value of his land, which he thinks is negatively impacted by corner crossing, then he'll use what's left of the uncertainty to sell his land before it's confirmed that corner crossing is legal.

IMO, this is as much about pride and ego as it is money. Billionaires are used to getting their way, and don’t like being challenged by the uncleansed masses.

The area we have for elk this year has very limited public land. If we corner crossed it would have a lot! I believe an outfitter is charging 5 figures on that BLM. He would defiantly hate us! If there is not a pin in the ground, you really dont know where the corner is. He has probably built 10' fences at these corners. It would be a major risk!!! The game warden would probably hate you also for putting him in the middle!

A Kentucky elk hunter weighing in on a district court ruling regarding corner crossing in Wyoming!? Kinda makes one chuckle a bit about the Kentuckian sour grapes.

Got word earlier today from Ryan Semerad that Iron Bar is looking to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court over corner crossing.

Had a lengthy discussion with Ryan and Lee Mickus about this a month ago, they think the case is solid and if the USSC hears the case they expect a favorable ruling. It was interesting and informative listening to them discuss the case in relation to how it would play out at the Supreme Court. I hope they're right, they have been so far.

Any update on this? @Big Fin you mentioned in elk talk they had till June 16th to file. Has that changed?

I wouldn't count the corner crossing chickens before they hatch if this is going to the SCOTUS. This particular court is not trustworthy when it comes to rolling against billionaires who can pay for trips or buy and lease back an aging parent's home. And if the implication of this ruling impacts all billionaire landowners, there could be an awful to of grease on those wheels...

And some palms?

So if your'e on public land standing by a line fence and stick your hand/arm between the wires that's trespassing? Effn ridiculous.
