This past Monday I had to put down my last "Wirehaired Pointing Griffon". They have blessed my house for the past 24 years. They may not be the greatest bird dogs, however, they would never know that fact. If you ever get to know a Griffon they are born to please, no matter what the situation. Anyway I had a local artist do a pastel painting of the three Griff's that I had in one of my favorite hunting places... the "Fort Pierre National Grasslands" in South Dakota. Many trips and many great memories walking those public grasslands over the years for Sharptails and Prairie Chickens. The painting is 15" x 30". Sorry to say the photo does not do the colors justice, however, it's just like I see it in my mind. Thanks for the memories... "Bree, Hank & Mike"

Good luck to all.

Awesome artwork - sorry for your loss. Last? Are you not getting another one to start?

It sure is a great way to capture their lives and savor those precious moments. I have one of my grandpa's paintings done by EdWards. I look at it every day, never even hunted behind that dog Max, but imagine myself with gramps and his pointers. The painting is 'Max's Dream'.
