Who was out like me Swinging by Walmart at 7PM on the 24th ?

I swear it was 75% full and of that there were 99% men in there looking around for soemthing.

Fortunately I was in there just for Batteries.....

Yup, we have one just a few minutes from the house. Between me and my girlfriend I think we visited about 6 times getting ready for the big family gathering, seems like every time we went we forgot something. Oh well, night went off without a hitch. Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday!!

I'm just glad I am not the only one that types soemthing all the time:D

I must say that I was actually prepared this year. I must be getting old or something! hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

For some sick reason I like going out at the last minute just to watch the desperate, male, masses trying to fuind the perfect gift with only minutes to spare. No doubt soem of the worst and most expensive gifts get purchased by the guys who let it slide till the last minute.

First year in many that I didn't need to go get some last minute things. It felt kind of wrong:D Had a great Christmas. Still playing with my Air Hog RC helicopter.:D Yea I couldn't resist. Fin got me hooked on Choppers with this years elk hunt. I'm getting over my fear of them in my living room.

Same here! My 9 yr old got two of them but the big kids won't let him play with them.

I only go to Wally World to skulk around with my digital camera; hoping to catch enough photos in the four stores in this immediate area so as to put together another photo essay of " People Of Walmart".

Be Honest...

Honestly.... Does Christmas really cost less at Walmart... ???

Or should their slogan be "Send your hard earned Ching to China for their Cheap Chit"

Seriously, I was just reviewing my wifey's Credit Card transactions... I thinks we must now be preferred customers... geezus....;)

Wallmart Sucks... But I was at Target/Fry's getting $300.00 in last minute gift cards... but in the morning...can't stand crowds...

I get a sick pleasure out of watching people squirm at the last minute, too. My goal every year is to be done by December 1st. I'm usually within 22 days of that. ;)

This year, I was done so far in advance I was able to strike out on a quick one-day archery deer excursion to the Superstitions. The Gambel quail that were hanging about and making a nuisance of themselves paid the ultimate price, though. My quads were almost as beat up as if I went head to head and leg to leg with some Wal-martians, though.

I went all amazon.com this year. Everything delivered to the house about a week before Christmas. Worked wonderfully.

Soemthing and Jsut get spelled by me wrong ALL the time. I jsutually go back and Change Jsut becasue I know I spell it wrong. Since i type with 2 fingers I can't get the Right hand to click twice before the Left hand hits the "s"......

At any rate. I was thinking about wrapping a Box or two and setting up a stand outside of Walmart with the title "BEST GIFT EVER" and having people by them. I'm sure they would have sold like Hotcakes. Even not knowing what was inside ;)

No last minute shopping for me. The only person I wait until the last minute for is my wife. This year when I asked her what she wanted, she said "nothing".

So, she got nothing. :)

Guilty! I usually wait until the last few days to get my shopping done. Every year I swear that I won't do that again, but it always happens that way.

Oak, I tried tthat crap 2 years ago for my wifes B-day.... JSut before I left for IDBuglers and my NM hunt. Let's jsut say I've done something for any day that resembles a holiday ever since. Heck, Most Weekends not related to a holiday I bring home flowers or a gift jsut in case. I thought 10 days away she'd forget about it........ Not my wife !!!! ;)

The last minute thing usually works out in her favor. I can't find what I want, so end up buying something that costs $200 more than I want to spend ($25 ;) ). This year I was out of ideas...

I have a whole friggin' list of stuff I want every year. This year she wrapped up the new grill cover she bought the week before Christmas and gave that to me.:D
