Unfortunately if the pendulum swings hard enough, you may get to prove that you're in favor of it. Taking guns away from criminals = good. Taking guns away from criminals by breaking down every door in the neighborhood and forcing every gun owner to produce their papers at gunpoint = bad. At least from my perspective. But it seems like you feel differently.

That's crazy given the current state of affairs with the media basis. But I honestly don't care if you believe me or not. Your opinion on the matter means nothing to me. I'm able to determine right from wrong first hand. Not from a news outlet.

There was no law requiring me to get a Covid vaccine right? But life was more difficult if I chose not to. It was a decision I made to not get the jab.

I think you said earlier that you were in law enforcement? If you had probable cause and you detain someone and they cannot identify themselves what is the procedure. I'm not trying to prove you wrong I don't know.

You're either helping law enforcement, or obstructing them from doing their job. They have lists of people to check. If they're being asked, they probably match a profile. If I had probable cause, it wouldn't matter, because they'd be under arrest for whatever crime they committed anyway. If they give me a false name, it would come put with their prints usually.

Now to stop someone on the street? If habe to ha e reasonable articulate suspicion a crime has occurred. And, many times, if i couldn't develop probable cause, even if I felt they were yanking my chain, I got the best information I could, documented it all, and figured it out later, then dealt with the individual once I was more confident of their identity.
