When I compare shooting a round ball to a modern sabot there is going to be significant difference. Doesn’t mean shit for any practical purposes. 60’s bullets to sleek BC bullets doesn’t mean shit.

What bullets do you use ?

Two 140 grain Berger vld hunting
One 160 grain accubond
One 168 grain accubond.

Shoulder bone of a bull elk that was broke by a 6.5 “target” bullet at 250 yards I believe it was. Bullet started life at 2825fps. Bull didn’t take to kindly to it.

I went to 416 though. "Was apart of" some killings were ass shots wete made, and i put a poor effort of tracking in, and the meat spoiled.

I put 40 rounds through mine two weeks ago. The break and new stock help a lot. @perma can rock it like the beast that he is.
