6.5 Creedmoor Peak

I busted my ass all week trying to kill a decent bull while packing a .270 Win. It would have done the job pretty nicely if things had aligned on the only bull I saw. Only shot I fired all week was from a pistol. Ruger single six dispatching a mouse that was raiding the wall tent. Dropped him with a 40 grain CCI subsonic.

killed a cow this am with the 155 load , 2790 fps, muzzle, 374 yds 2 nice holes thru mid shoulders insides a mess

shoots .6moa very easy thru the howa

Don't worry. Steel cased .22 rimfire is probly on the way. It will extend your range. mtmuley

If you guys would just switch to Bergers you wouldn't need that silly, extra couple hundred fps. Those things kill no matter what speed they are going.
I can't wait until the PRC Peak+ ammo comes out. I won't have to handload anymore, and I'll be screaming Bergers at 3500 fps+.
This is funny. I put some 190 VLD's through an antelope and a deer. 3300 fps. Never again. mtmuley
